1. NerdMiners are Primarily for Education and Hobbyist Fun

NerdPulse Miners (and similar devices) are designed to be:

2. Earning Significant Bitcoin is Extremely Unlikely

Bitcoin mining is a highly competitive process. The total hashing power of the Bitcoin network is immense (measured in ExaHashes per second – EH/s, which is quintillions of hashes). A NerdMiner typically has a hashrate in the Kilohashes per second range (KH/s – thousands of hashes).

Therefore, the probability of a single low-power NerdMiner successfully mining a Bitcoin block (and receiving the block reward) is statistically very, very small. It is comparable to winning a major lottery. While not impossible, it should absolutely not be expected.

3. Not a Financial Investment

NerdPulse Miners should NOT be considered a financial investment or a way to generate income. Do not purchase a NerdMiner with the expectation of making a profit or achieving a return on your investment through mining rewards.

Factors influencing mining success are numerous and largely outside of anyone's control, including (but not limited to) overall network hashrate, mining difficulty adjustments, luck, and the price of Bitcoin.
